It’s not too late to celebrate Administrative Professional’s Week! It’s happening across this week and it’s very important we take moments across the week (and always) to thank all the administrative professionals. Check out our blog on how Administrative Professionals’ Week got started. In the spirit of a providing a “thank you” for all of those close to us in the business world, here are a few ideas on how you can make this week a special one!

Write a Thank You card. This may seem like something small but it will go a LONG way with our administrative professionals. It will be even more impactful if you handwrite it on a stationary. It proves you are willing to take the time to sit down to say thank you. It will be something they can keep for a long time to remember how grateful you are for their work.

Give them an extra day off. Whether it’s this week or another time, paid time off can be a great way to say THANK YOU. Everyone loves a day off and administrative professionals are no different.

Take them out to lunch. Any one-on-one time you can spend with your administrative professional will help them recognize how much you value them. It will also give you the time to talk with them in an environment outside of work. It will help you get to know them on a more personal level.

Send them flowers. Everyone loves a floral arrangement at their desk to show off at work. This is a simple gesture but will have a big impact on them knowing how important they are. It also let’s everyone else know how thankful you are for them!

Let them use your office. This might seem a little unconventional but it’s a fun way to mix things up. We know they will enjoy sitting in your office for the day and will be a way for them to get out of their regular routine at work.

We hope you enjoy Administrative Professionals’ Week! If you work with an administrative professional, make sure you show them how grateful you are and celebrate this week. If you are an administrative professional, enjoy the week and make sure you take a moment to recognize all your hard work!
