Everyone gearing up for the holidays? We thought we would spend some time going through gift ideas when it comes to doing your holiday shopping. Now some people might say this is too early but we say it’s never too early to start shopping! However, before you start shopping make sure you have a good idea of what your budget is so you don’t get tempted into buying something out of your price range. Here are some of our favorite ideas for the 2014 holidays.

Technology. Can’t go wrong with a new piece of technology for this holiday season. Make sure you know what the person you are buying for has and what they don’t. Some of our favorite ideas are...wireless speakers, an iPad, an iPhone 6 (or 6+), Bose headphones, and an Apple TV. Now these are just a few ideas when it comes to great technology gifts ideas for this season.

Homemade treats. Now if your budget is a little bit lower this season or you are looking for a gift to give out to a bigger group of people like for example, all your co-workers, I’d go the homemade treats route. Good ideas when it comes to these items are chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate bark with peppermint or nuts, homemade granola, or a spiced or candied nut mix. We love a lot of these options but our best suggestion would be anything with chocolate is sure to be a winner this holiday season.

Coffee Mug. Knowing how cold it has been across all of the U.S. already and it’s only the beginning of December we are sure that everyone is going to need a coffee mug or thermos this winter. Starbucks usually has good festive options so swing by and pick up something that’s sure to be easy and quick to get but someone will definitely enjoy receiving.

Jewelry. This is obviously one of our favorite ideas when it comes to giving gifts this holiday, however, it’s probably reserved for the ones buying for loved ones or close family members. There are plenty of great options out there when it comes to beautiful jewelry and just remember, diamonds are a girl’s best friend.

Gifts to make you relax. Think about how this person likes to spend their free time and relax and get them something to help them do it. Maybe it’s a spa day with a manicure and pedicure or massage and maybe it’s a happy hour with all their friends. Either way you can’t go wrong if it feels like an activity they would like to do but not necessarily something they treat themselves to.

A trip. Always a great idea to give someone a surprise trip for the holidays. Again, this is definitely something they wouldn’t normally treat themselves to. Our advice is to plan it for some place warm right in the thick of the winter. It’s always good to have a warm vacation to look forward to!

Sweaters, jackets, scarves, oh my! It’s going to be a brutal winter so help your friends, family and loved ones bundle up in style. There are plenty of options out there for this category and you really can’t go wrong. Gloves are also a good option!

Flowers. And our personal favorite for this season...flowers of course! The best way to say happy holidays without over thinking is sending a beautiful holiday bouquet. The best thing about flowers is that they have same day delivery flowers so if you run out of ideas for gift giving this year you can always fall back on flowers! Also if you don’t like flowers there are plenty of holiday gift baskets available to order online.
